  • How do I make buttons invisible until selected?

Posted by Accountneedsrealnameupdate on August 8, 2007 at 8:47 pm

I created a basic button in photoshop, imported in Encore, make it a button. Now I want my buttons visible only when selected and invisible when not selected. How do I change it so these buttons are transparent and not visible until they are selected?

    Thanks

Well I got them to appear invisible just by changing the normal color to black which blends with my black background.

But I have these buttons loop at 6 seconds. ANd for some reason it shows the buttons (which are white as made in photoshop) as white from 0-6 seconds then when they get to their loop point the first one is highlighted and the rest disppear (turn black, normal state).

So how can I make it so you can’t see the buttons before the loop point? I tried making black buttons in photoshop but then the subpicture highlight is real pixelated looking on the edges, where as a white button edges are smooth when highlighted.

    ANy ideas?
