  General error and Abnormal Error, can’t render or check

  My PC:

  4 gig ram
  Dual Core 3.2 mhz
  4 – 500 gig SATA/2 drives
  512 mb video card
  Dual monitors

  Whenever I try and check a project, render, or click on a drop-down, I receive either a “general error” or the “sorry, an abnormal condition…” error.

  four playlists
  1 video file w/56 chapter marks
  1 audio AC3 audio file

  Nothing really special or different in this project. I was able to test and render one time. Made a couple of highlight position corrections – then started getting nothing but errors. Undid the changes – made no difference. Did not save the file – just quit.

  Tried several of the suggestions I have found here:

  Opened the version before the changes – same errors.

  Tried doing an uninstall and reinstall. No help.
  Tried uninstalling the two Ulead programs I had installed. No help.

  Any ideas?
