Hi guys and girls, I have read a load of topics on this problem, but still don’t seem to get any joy, so here goe’s!!

I’m trying to create a background video menu, so far I have created a menu in photoshop CS2, with buttons which work fine. I’ve imported it into Encore 2.0. I then imported an AVI file, which also works fine, but when I drag it from the asset window and drop it into the project window, it doesn’t appear as a background video, but as button, which links to the video.

I’ve tried rendering the menu, but it won’t highlight the option to click on.

Please help, it’s starting to anger me 🙂

    Much Thanks

    James

Make sure you Alt+Drag the asset to make it the background video for the menu. If you do a normal drag-and-drop, then you get the behavior you’ve described.
