  Abnormal Situation …

  Hi,

  after getting no feedback at the abobe forums, I hope to find help here.

  I own a Encore DVD 1.5 and installed a Version 2.0 Tryout, to test the new slideshow functionality … I spent hours on building a project with roundabout 2.200 slides and everything seems ok, but I am not able to build a ISO file.

  First I got always the ‘general error message’ and after reboot-and-retry a lot (!) of times I was able to burn one DVD.

  Without changing anything I now try to write an ISO file and now I get always the ‘abnormal condition’ error while building the dvd layout.

  What I have done so far:
  – change all filenames to 8.3 format
  – created a new user
  – changed the resolution to 1024×768
  – deleted the cache folder inside the project folder
  – reinstalled encore
  – reinstalled windows

  Does anyone have a hint for me?
