  Troubelshooting system

  I’ve been having some serious issues with my system over the last few weeks as a quick search of my recent posts will verify. Everything from crazy renders times to Dynamic Link not working like it used to…etc. I am certain that something is messed up with both Premiere and After Effects which makes me believe that it is a system issue.

  That being said…. although I have been producing and editing video for many years, when it comes to the geek aspect, that’s nowhere near my forte. So here’s my question….as I’ve gone through and ensured that all my settings appear to be the same in both Premiere and After Effects as they were when everything worked well, how do I go about troubleshooting the problem? There are a million variables….would reinstalling CS5 be a good start? Reinstalling windows 7 perhaps? Aside from wiping everything and starting over, what are my options? I’ve done a restore back to an earlier date, but nothing seemed to change.

  Any help would be appreciated.
