    Hi there

Basically I have exported a short movie as an SWF file from AE but some masks arent working. I have one psd layer which masks on and that works fine however I have text which masks on and that just appears, it doesnt actually mask on. Is that because Flash cant understand the text or something? When Ive exported ive tried both with and without rasterize on and doesnt seem to make a difference. Any ideas?

    cheers!

All masks on a layer have to have the same mode and that mode has to be “add” or “difference”.

I see what you mean. It looks like you have to precompose text layers before you mask them, which means they will get rasterized.
