I’ve been importing an .m2v file (along with the .mpa audio track) into Encore, getting a good preview, but when I go to burn the DVD an error message always pops up:

PGC “movie” has an error at 00;00;00;00.
    internal software error: %0, line humana – PGC Info: name=humana, ref=Hpgc, time=00;00;00;00

I get the same message with or without the audio track added.

The .m2v file was created using a Progressive field when exporting from Premiere.

However, I get no error message when using lower or upper for the field option.

    Any ideas? Thanks

One more thing: I also tried straight mpeg-2, but received the dreaded red ‘flashes’ every so often during playback -both in preview and on DVD.

Update: Just did a burn to DVD right from Premiere – using the mpeg2-DVD (with the same settings as when I exported for use in Encore), and the thing plays great. This just about narrows it down to something within Encore…?

I’ve got the same thing ………I just changed my settings in procoder from Picture substructure “Always Frame” to “Always Field” to solve one problem (heavy banding due to interlace issue) and now I’ve got this for the first time! Had any luck figuring it out?

No luck so far. I’ll keep trying and post back here with any luck.
