What software should I use to burn my projects? I’ve been using the built in utility for build dvd disc and have found it to be sketchy at best. It also crashed mid burn and ruins discs which i don’t care for much either. I’ve been told to avoid nero and roxio both so I’m at a loss of what I *should* be using. Suggestions please?!?

Nero is just fine, you just need to know what you are doing. The safest way is always to create an Image and burn this instead of the file structure itself. This way your sector allocations will remain intact no matter what. There are also several freeware and shareware tools that hook into the windows burning API just to do the same. If you’re looking for a no frills solution you might want to consider them as well.
