• Adobe Encore DVD

  internal software error and other joy

  Opened a Encore 1.5 project in 2.0.

  Seems to function ok, aside from no audio during preview.

  Went to build DVD image (nice that it now makes ISO instead of IMG).

  During the “planning navigation for movie” portion of the build, it gave me this error:

  internal software error. /Vobulator/TitlePlanner/CVOBUPlanner.cpp, line 331

  I also get the “abnormal condition” error as soon as I load a 1.5 project.

  Pentium 4 2.8hgz, 1gig ram.

  for hoo-ha’s I made a small project from scratch in Encore 2.0, and it build the ISO no problem.

  Seems I will have to rebuild unless I can track down the culprit asset in the 1.5 project, which would probably take just as long.

  Anyone else have problems opening 1.5 projects?

  I was able to smoothly finish a small 1.5 project in 2.0. However, there is a much larger project that I have to transfer over to 2.0. What you’re going through is making me worry…

  the main reason i got 2.0 is that it is supposed to fix the “automatic next title at end of timeline” issue – but I may need to re-author to see if this is the case.
