  Clearer text on DVD

  Is there a way to make text more clear on the screen when authoring with Encore?

  One thing we’ve noticed in authoring DVDs using Encore is that text we type on screen is not as clear as the text you find in studio-authored DVDs. I’m talking about bodies of text (paragraphs), not menu items.

  Someone mentioned that the way to do it might be to have a higher-res version as a PSD or in Illustrator, and then link to that file, rather than typing the text using Encore’s text tool. Would this work?

  Does anyone have any idea how to do this (do we need a higher-end authoring application?).

  Have you tried Anti Aliasing the text? Comparing different fonts?
