  NX5U file structure

  We have started using 2 NX5U cameras & I would like to be able to identify the cameras thru the sequential file name. e.g. – 1100002 where 11 is cam1, card1 & 00002 is the file #. Is this possible, or something like it? Importing footage into Vegas 13 with redundant file names is frustrating.

  presently there is no arbitrary file naming… this has been requested as a feature

  With Vegas 13 that doesn’t have to frustrate you.

  What I do is create a bin for each camera and import each camera into its appropriate bin. I can either view the contents of each bin, or the total of all bins.
