  XD Cam transfer not showing footage

  I have a macbook pro with an express card slot. I upgraded my mac to El Capitan.

  Suddenly my XD cam Transfer will not allow me to open the footage and save it from my EX 1 camera. It’s telling me it does not have the right codec.

  I know XDCam transfer is no longer offered, but I understood that it was still good with El Capitan. Can someone tell me what to do here?

  I edit on FCP X. Thanks so much!
