view sony pxw-x70 via internet
Hi, my name is Mihai and I would like to connect to my sony pxw-x70 via internet with lets say VLC.
What i mange to achive until now is to connect it to a LAN and view it in VLC.
I tried to port forward it from router but nothing happend. I port forwarded a laptop and i did saw it from other laptop via internet but whan I am trying the same thing with the sony pxw-x70 nothing hapens even the port it looks like its closed or someting.
Any ideeas to where do I do wrong?Thx in advance 4 ur help
So after 9 hrs I managed to solve the problem well its all about networks ips and ports. The ideea is this: in the camera menu at streaming in the ip field I wrote the destination Ip(70.198.10.1) and a port(1234). In the destination router(that has the port I wrote in the camera 70.198.10.1) at portforward/virtualserver at internal ip I wrote the destination PC’s ip(192.192.1.12) and at the external port the same port as in camera(1234) and in internal port a diferent port(12345). Then i opened vlc on the pc and conected udp://@:internal port that i wrote it in router(12345).
