  Scene files for the Sony F5

  I haven’t seen this addressed on CC so if I missed it, sorry.

  I am having a heck of a time getting a warm look out of my F5. I spent a day in the shop with a tech and he couldn’t get it there. I have been using a Panasonic HDX900 with the Abel HISAT scene file and the look is absolutely stunning. The skin tones are warm and rich without looking over-done. But the Sony F5 is just cold and flat. There is a noticeable lack of yellow in the camera making the reproduction of orange almost impossible. A banana is definitely yellow but a traffic cone is peach. Shifting the WB only makes things redder without any warmth. I tried talking to Sony but they never responded.

  Has anyone else had this problem? And, does anyone know a workaround? I have spent countless hours with a ChromaDuMonde chart and can’t get rid of the distortion in the lower left quadrant on the scope. My Panasonic makes a perfect hexagon.

  Any thoughts?
