HDSDI to HDMI converters
im shooting a wedding in a church and there will be a big overflow of guests that cant fit in there. So they want me to run a feed from my ex1r to an hdtv out of the church where guests will watch.

found black magic and aja converters for a lot more 3-400.00.
ill probably never use this setup again, even if I do, cant put out for the aja or black magic.input welcome, how long of a run can I go out of the camera and still get good video/audio on the tv.

Do you have time before the event? (meaning 2 or more weeks) For $45 I’d buy one and try it out; worst case you send it back and buy something known to work with great reviews or you rent one.
HDSDI should go 300meters – don’t scrimp on the cable.

Jim another issue you will need to be aware of is distance. Depending on the quality of your video cable the max distance HDSDI will travel is 200 -300 feet. You should try to measure your run and do some tests with your coax as well
