  Proxymill with XDCAM EX media

  Hello,

  wondering if anyone is using Proxymill to process XDCAM EX media and can offer a rough figure of process time for converting files. I’ve been running tests on a much older mac book pro and am shopping for a new mac and just want to get a sense of what kind of speed increase i can expect. I know its a bit ambiguous but just a ball park figure.

  I’m seeing a about twice real time on a 2.66 Core 2 DUO macbook pro. So 18 min clips are taking roughly 40 min to transcode to H264 proxies with TC Burn.
