  AE version 5.5 vs. 4.0

  I bought some digieffects software when I was working with AE4.0. It worked perfectly. I recently added 5.5 and installed the digieffects intot he plug-ins folders as I did on 4.0. Now, the added effects will not show up. I went through the process on start up as requested, but no efects still show. Any ideas??

  It sounds like you just have an old version of the plugins that work with 4, but not 5.5. I have several DigiEffects packs and don’t recall whether plugin updates were necessary from AE 4.1 to 5.5, but would be surprised if they weren’t.

  By the way, if it’s at all within your reach/needs, AE 6.5 is well worth the upgrade from 5.5….just my 2

  I’m waiting for 6.5 to be available on ebay. I can’t swing a full version quite yet.
