  Greenscreen EX1 vs. PDW700

  Hi,

  we’re going to shoot a in a Greenscreen set soon. Normally I’d prefer to use our Sony EX1 and capture the signal via a Blackmagic Multibridge direct to ProRes. That works fine.

  The budget of this Project gives me the opportunity to shoot with a more expensive camera such as the PDW-700. But if I have got it right, the signal that comes out at HD-SDI is the same with both cameras (10bit 422). Can somebody tell me if there is a measurable difference between the picture quality of that cameras captured in this way. Perhaps because the PDW-700 has CCDs and the EX1 has CMOS …
