I bought two EX3 cameras about a year ago although until now, I was not the person actually using them. One seems to work fine the other is not behaving “normally” as far as I can tell.

Before I ship it off to Sony, is there some setting somewhere that would cause the following:
    1. Can’t manually white balance in A or B. Pressing white balance button appears to have no effect.

    2. Picture Profile menu only has PP6 available (OFF and PP1 through PP5 are greyed out).

    The firmware is 1.05_0094
Tried resetting in main menu and in pp6.

Am I missing some all important “F**K-It-All-Up” setting? Or is it time for this camera to take a tour of Teaneck NJ?

Have you performed an “ALL RESET” under the “OTHERS” menu?

Try that if not, then do a firmware update to version 1.10
