xdcam transfer version 2.12 fail
I am having all sorts of problems downloading the Sony XDCAM Transfer Version 2.12. Every time I try to download it it wants me to join Sony Service Plus, then it will not let me do this. Maybe its because I live in Canada, but for whatever reason I cannot join it and I cannot get V_2.12! I can get V_2.10 but, it keeps giving that “no thumb nails” error message mentioned many times in other threads. Does anyone have a link for the 2.12 download that I can use please?

Have you tried Sony Canada? 2.12 is listed there if you scroll down.

Thank you Craig, I could not find that page on Sony Canada. I believe it was because I was using Safari to browse. When I used Firefox I could download 2.12 no problem. Thank you so much for your help in this Craig, I appreciate it.

Safari has issues rendering the US software site, so that was part of the problem, but the site also does not allow registration from non-us customers. Glad you were able to locate it and get it working. The thumbnail issue is a known symptom when using versions <2.12 on Snow Leopard.
