  How do I create quicktime clips for editing

  I am very novice with this camera/process. How do you make quicktime files for this camera. I am using the XD CAM EX CLIP BROWSER.

  ClipBrowser with CRC to copy the BPAV to a hard drive.
  XDCAM Transfer (access all the BPAV) will join the clips and rewrap them to .mov (no transcode so it’s lossless).

  You can also import the BPAV into FCP directly with the Sony Log and Transfer plugin for FCP and it’ll rewrap to ..mov

  Also Calibrated Software EX plugin can allow you to use the .mp4 directly in FCP.
  Sony Cinemon plugin can do this too.
