  auto audio. EX1R

  colleagues, help me!

  i got both audio channels in auto and camera record audio not higher than -6db.
  never.

  whatever i use – int. mic, shotgut or lavalier… loud music in hall or whisper… it always -6db in Premiere CS5. and i always have to gain +6 db in postproduction to reach normal audio level.
  EX1R just trim at -6db.

  this really piss me off…

  Please, help me to understand what’s going on ?

  When using external mics have you tried adjusting the EX internal mic trim?
  You should not be using auto in my opinion if you want control over the levels.

  In auto mode i cannot change trim option. it’s greyed out.

  In manual i can reach wanted level of audio.

  But I just want to have audio level in auto mode like any cheap camera 500$ camera can do. which is loud enough. and not trimmed at -6db…
