    Please help.
My ex1R with sxs card was working fine before.
But after using my friend’s laptop to transfer file,
I suspect it was affected by virus.

After shooting, when connect through USB to computer,
the BPAV folder is empty (only 266 kb)
cannot see any file inside the computer.
But the strange thing is when the card is in the camera slot,
it can be seen and playback, just like normal.

Tried to format the card using camera and also computer.
Also tried Reset All in the camera,
But it doesn’t help at all.

    What should I do?

Is there any firmware to deal with it?

    thanks
    Losel

Have you checked to see if the card has become locked – little black switch on end of card.

    Hi Bruce,
    No it’s not locked.

the card can be recorded and playback in the camera.
But when I connect to pc via usb,
the BPAV folder only appear as an empty folder.

    strange!

Sorry but your workflow and goals aren’t making sense to me.

[Losel Chuah] “But after using my friend’s laptop to transfer file,

So once files are copied and confirmed (using ClipBrowser with CRC ON)
You can reformat the card in camera if need be.

Sorry but this isn’t making sense. You should see ClipBrowser with CRC on and copy the cards and see what the results are.

“doesn’t help” isn’t an error message or a description of a results. Format a card and it will be empty.

    Hi Craig,
Sorry for my unclear explanation. Please bare with my English.

I could see the clip now in the clip browser.
Thank very much for your help.
Previously I tried to view the clip in window explorer,
    without using clip browser.

But earlier to that, i could see it in the explorer.
I think it is because i haven’t install the clip browser.

I don’t know why but anyway, i can use the clip browser to transfer files now, thank you.
