ex3 getting it together!!
I am a cameraman in the uk i would like to thank the forum for giving me ideas, i have just been getting my ex3 and nano kit together i am using a protect st7 base, so far i have taken the camera down the deepest mine in europe , great results, also just finished filming on cornish fishing boat, I love the camera and the results just not sure if the base and handel will cope?

Handel died 251 years ago (almost to the day) so I suspect he’s coping just fine. I’m not sure if he played the “base” but he was an awesome composer.
With your EX3 base plate I’m sure your new camera will cope just fine. I have an aftermarket base plate on my own EX3 and it’s rock solid.

I have had both the EX-1 and now the EX-3 and I must say thse two cameras have been outstanding in every respect. The quality of the video I get from these two cameras is stunning.

I would urge you to fit one of these first, then ST7. It’s what I use and takes the strain off the very flimsy attachment on the camera. https://shop.dm-accessories.com/products/ex3-plate
