    I wonder what your serial number is. I am beginning to think the older first Ex1s might have a heat problem. It seems like everyone does not have the problem. Seems much worse when using the adapters and SDHC cards. This much heat cant be good for the memory cards. Burning Hot.

    SxS cards get hot too. When you write large amounts of data to memory devices they will get hot. Most electronic components don’t fail until they get to over 100c so your going to burn your fingers on them before they fail. I agree that Sd cards etc inside adapters might be having a harder time as it is harder for the heat to escape. SxS cards have metal sides to conduct the heat away.
