    Hello all,

I am shooting with an EX-3 and our audio folks are wanting 4 channels of audio. I see in the audio output menus that you can monitor 4 channels but I don’t see any input options. So my question is, are there 4 channels of audio recorded or two?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Just two, Jim. So in order to solve your dilemma and record 4 channels you’d have to use a mixer to capture your 4 channels, mix them down to two and then into the EX3. Better yet, use the camera for two channels and record two more with a rented audio recorder, then you’ll have 4 discreet channels for your client.

And you can use the TC out of the EX-3 to sync the audio recorder.
