  Conversion to Betacam Output.

  We have an upcoming shoot and the footage is going to be cut into an existing program that was shot Beta SP. I have to deliver the agency a Beta SP master and I was wondering what would be the best way for we to do a file conversion. We are going to shoot 720P and I have a component card in an editing system for Beta SP output. Is their any way to do this directly out of the camera? We are recording audio. Thanks.

  Which camera are we talking about exactly? If you had an SDI output and a HD to SD SDI hardware downconverter I suppose you could try playing out to a deck. But going through an AJA or BMD card would be a lot more sensible.

  Sony EX3. I can output through the AJA, that appears to be the easiest way. Thanks.
