Ex3 slow motion- shutter speed question
Posted by Ankur Ahuja on November 26, 2009 at 12:00 pmHi,
If I shoot at 720/50p intending to conform to 25p for slow-motion (not cranked in camera) what shutter speed/angle do I need to keep?
Regards all,

Unless you want reduce the motion blur, let the Shutter in auto.
One question?
Why don’t you want to use the overcrank option?
This is by far the way that offers more picture quality.
Think that if you conform p50 to p25, your files will pass of having 35 MBps to have only 17’5 Mbps (half).
When you records overcranked your picture is recorded at a much higher data rate, so you end up with a the file p25 (slow-mow) with 35 Mbps. Double data per picture=Half compression= More quality.

Thanks again. Yes it does make sense to overcrank in camera…I haven’t got my hands on the camera yet so wondering about all the options.
