  getting footage into an FCP timeline

  I’m trying to get my footage into an FCP timeline. It doesn’t recognize the file…General Error. Is there a codec or something specific to the sony pmw ex3?

  Unfortunately you’ve provided little information so I’ll simply state you should update to FCP 6.0.2 or higher.
