Showing EX1 footage on a Windows systems
I want to show some hours on a Windows system (playing from a computer). Using FCP 6 I am thinking about which workflow is the most efficient.
1. Creating .mov movies in the native codek. Buying. the Calibrated Software codek. Play with QuickTime Player.
– shortest production time for me. $80 for codek.
2. Creating .mov movies with the H.264 codek. Play with QT.
– transcoding is slow.
3. Creating .mpg movies with the MPEG 2 codek. Play with any (?) player in Windows.
– transcoding is not so slow, but files bigger than H.264.
What do you think? Are there other solutions?
