  workflow for capturing to ProRes 422 10-bit

  Hi,
  I’ll be shooting about an hour worth of green screen tomorrow with a Sony EX1 XDCAM.
  Naturally, I’d like to retain as much color information as I can. I’m thinking of shooting 1080P. I have a MacBook Pro and an Aja Io HD at my disposal for capturing the material.
  Would anyone happen to have any recommendations for the optimal workflow, considering this setup?

  I would use the AJA I/O and attempt to record as Pro Rez, I would also record natively on the camera for backup. Not sure you can get away with recording the higher level (220 Mbps) PR but the lower 145 Mbps PR is a great workflow, and the native EX35 Mbps also keys very well too.
