I shot 25 mins. of EX1 footage at 1080p24. Before I went to review my clips, my timecode was 25:02:08. I went to media mode, reviewed my clips and made sure that nothing got changed, altered, deleted, etc. When I went back to Camera Mode, my timecode was 17:41:06 (which coincidentally was the exact same timecode as shot #17). I can’t figure out how the timecode reverted backwards. I am even more perplexed as to how it reverted back to a previous shot’s timecode. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

What timecode does ClipBrowser 2.5 report?

I’ve never seen or heard anyone with Time Code issues on the source cards themselves although I can imagine some odd metadata issue.

Early versions of ClipBrowser had problems with certain types of time code. That’s why I mention checking with 2.5.

    Hi Craig-

Clip Browser reports the same timecode as the camera. It is quite bizarre. I never like being the first one to experience problems like these so any advice as to what happened would be great.

    Thanks

    Todd
