  Problem Exporting

  When I try to export the movie from the timeline, the result looks like this. (plesase follow the link)

  The video also looks like this in the timeline, nevertheless when I am editing, it looks fine.
  I tried importing the footage on Imovie, and its the same…
  I am using FINAL CUT PRO academic 6.0.5
  on a Mac OS X version 10.5.6
  I have a Mac pro

  I’ve checked the sequence settings
  frame size: 1920 x1080 HDTV1080i (16×9)
  pixel aspect ratio: square
  editing timebase: 23,98
  quicktime video settings:
  compressor: xdcam ex 1080p24 (35Mb/s vbr)
  quality: 100%
  audio settings:
  rate: 48Khz
  depth: 16 bit
  config: channel grouped

  Do you have the Calibratedsoftware plugin installed?
  It looks like that in demo mode.
  It shouldn’t be used on FCP systems as it’ll conflict with FCP’s on EC codec. It’s meant for non FCP systems specifically.

  I really don’t know if I have that plug in installed in this computer. How can I find out?

  Look in your system’s Quicktime folder and look for the word Calibrated.

  I found the calibrated component installed, how can I erase it or uninstalled it?

  On page 2 of the PDF

  To Uninstall:
  1. If Licensed, backup CalibratedComponent.lic file to a temp directory.
  2. If no other Calibrated Software is installed, then delete the directory:
  /Applications/Calibrated
  3. If other Calibrated Software is installed, then only delete:
  a. /Applications/Calibrated/Applications/Options/CalibratedQXDOptions.app
  b. /Applications/Calibrated/Plugins/QuickTime/CalibratedXDCodec.component
  c. /Applications/Calibrated/Docs/CalibratedQXDOptions.pdf
  d. /Applications/Calibrated/Docs/ReadMe-Calibrated{Q}XDDecode.pdf
  4. Delete the file:
  /Library/QuickTime/CalibratedXDCodec.component
  5. Delete the file:
  /Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/com.calibratedsoftware.CalibratedXDCodec.plist
