Test recording today with new EX3 to an 8 Gig Card I’m capturing 115 minutes on HQ mode (1080 60i) and 140+ minutes on SP 1080 60i. Clips look normal played back in camera. Can’t find any settings (interval record etc) that might explain this. Any ideas?

It sounds like your 8GB card is a 32GB card. Data rate determines file size and there’s only two possible with the EX 25mbps CBR and 35mbps VBR for playback. That card isn’t an 8GB card.

Sounds like you have a faulty card.

I’ve got an extra 8GB card if you
want to trade… you know, just
    because I’m nice. 🙂

The card was mislabeled and is a 32G. Thanks for the help.
