  EX1 color rendition issue

  Hello. I am doing some test shooting with an EX1 and I find that it has a problem in reproducing primary red. There is always an “orange” look to it. I have adjusted the color correction settings and tried various white balancing and I do not get close to true red. I know cameras tend to have issues with certain colors. The EX1 LCD seems to add to this issue. The colors on an external monitor are a bit more accurate. I’m just wondering if anyone else noticed this?
