VCLEX0877 Zoom Through Support
Does anyone know if the VCLEX0877 offers zoom through support?
I have the .6X HD Wide Angle from Schneider Optics, and I’m frustrated with it for a number of reasons, not least of which is that it’s their only affordable wide angle for the EX1. It doesn’t offer zoom through support like an upcoming model they have.

Do you or anyone else no how it compares to Schneider’s, in terms of quality?

I have used both. While Sony isn’t exactly known for their glass, for the price, the Sony isn’t a bad buy. Also, keep in mind that .8x doesn’t get you very much wider so a lot depends on what you need it for. It is certainly nice to have a zoom-through so you aren’t always switching lenses though.
