But after the rebate, we’re only looking at $3k. So, we’re going from 30p to only 24p and we have to pay more? Seems like is ought to be 20% off the retail price, not more. bummer

Keep in mind that before NAB ’08, they had a wild dream that they could sell EX-3s for “under $13,000”. Hmmm. Remember when BetaCam tape was $1 a minute? It’s now $9 for a 30. And, when mini DV came out, a 60 minute tape was $28.
Maybe after they accumulate a warehouse full, they’ll change their mind. I won’t notice because I will hit the Lotto that day on my way to seeing hell freezing over.That’s if I don’t get killed by a flying pig on the way.
