    Hello all,

Got some material on a 16 GB card from day one of a shoot.

I don’t want to go into FCP – just copy to a little firewire drive I brought with me.

Place it in the express34 card slot BUT it doesn’t mount????

    Any tips??

Don’t want to go into Day 2 with limited recording space. I’ve got two 8GB cards as well.

Macbook Pro 2.4 4GB Ram every thing up to date although it wants me to run a firmware upgrade 1.3???

    Thanks

Just a quick question. Do you have the SxS driver installed?
If not you can get it here https://www.sony.ca/xdcamex/software.htm

    Hope that helps….

I got a 16 gb card that did the same thing. Funny this is it would work if I pushed it into the slot and held it. Sony is going to replace the card. Curious to see if yours does the same thing.

The other day I pushed one of my 16 Gbyte cards into the EX slot and a message came up that the card format was “unsupported.” I pulled it out, reinserted it and all was fine again. Curious.

    Hello all,

So I got this link https://www.sony.ca/promedia/drivers.htm

And all was well using the finder to drag and drop.

I’ve got copies on my MBP and the firewire for safety.

    Also browsed using xdcam transfer.

    Cheers

Try rebooting your computer between cards.
