  JH-3 RS422 Deck Control

  I’m having a problem controlling my JH-3 via RS-422. I looked
  through the manual and couldn’t find any menu items that refer
  to remote deck control. It’s worked before with my current
  configuration (FCP, AJA IO, G5). Any ideas on how to get the
  machine to remote mode?

  I don’t believe that the JH-3 has a “remote switch.” There may be some deeply buried menu item that deals with the RS-422, but I don’t think so. I have never had to change anything on my JH-3 since pulling out of the box to get the 422 working. My guess is that it is somewhere else in your pipeline.
