  InDesign plugin for data entry merge

  I’m working an annual report and I was wondering if there is a plug in that can help me save time from entering all financial data (figures and numbers) manually.
  My colleague has told there is a plugin that I can set-up the document and through the plugin (that she used in her previous role but she doesn’t know what is it called) I can give access to finance department to enter the figures and the numbers of the financial report without me entering everything manually.

  Adobe InCopy would allow you to do that.
