  • Turning text to “dot to dot”

To help my young son with his hand writing, I’m after turning a font like Tahoma, in to a dot to dot image.

I have tried turning the text to outlines, then turning the lines into dots, but this didn’t give the desired effect

Is there a way to turn the strokes in to dots, so as he can join them to create letters?

    Does this make sense?

    Thank you!

Right. Because you want dots only at junction points or where your pencil should change direction. Indy doesn’t know where those points are in the letters of any given font. Maybe you could find an actual dot-to-dot font?
