For some reason I can’t type the letter “f” next to a letter “i” or the letter “f” next to the letter “l” in InDesign CS4…and only in the font “AGrotesk”. (flame, fire, etc.) I can type these letters with a space between them but when I delete the space, both letters disappear. -weird.
Other fonts work fine and I can do this with AGrotesk in Photoshop and Illustrator, so I know it’s not the font.
Is there some weird ligature setting that I’m unaware of or something??

    Thanks for your help,
    John

I guess it could be a ligature funk for that font. Goto the options drop down in the character palette and turn off ligatures and see if that fixes it.
