  data merge indesign

  Hi forum

  just wanted some advice I have just produced a set of reports for pupils at a school using the data merge with around 300 merged fields. My problem was that Indesign wasn’t as dynamic as I would have liked as students study different subjects in the same year I had to go through each report and delete lots of the selections. Is there any way that Indesign can help you with areas or pages that don’t merge any data?
