  overlapping master pages?

  Hello,

  I am creating a catalog of our products that have a swoosh of lines traveling in the background from the Left side of the page to the right. they are different colors depending on the category. The problem is I have a blue master page on the left and a red one on the right in my catalog. And For some reason the swooshes continue combine looking purple because they are layered on top of each other. Is there a way to fix this with out cutting the pages in half? Any suggestions are more then welcome!
