  Pathfinder.. path disappearing !

  I preface this request for help by saying that I’m a novice user !

  I’m creating a curved line which I’d like to itersect an image, so ‘cutting’ the image at a curve.

  I’ve drawn my line, curved it and all looks good. To get the ‘cut’, I’m using the Pathfinder tool.

  The only option that seems to work is ‘subtract’, which does the job, but my line disappears. I’d like the ‘cut’ to be made but for the line to remain visible.

  Any ideas where I’m going wrong ??

  Any help appreciated !
