I made a huge mistake…bottom line, I am a new editor for a smallish bi-weekly periodical and I was working in Indesign to pull in ads/stories to place for the next issue. I worked all day, got a lot done, and at the end of the day, I had three files open. The current issue, an old issue, and a file with some ads in it. The current issue had been worked on all day…WITHOUT a save 🙁 I know, I’m a complete idiot, its a rookie mistake etc. But i closed down the current issue thinking it was the old issue and opted to not save. sigh….is there anyway to get it back? Btw, it’s worse than it sounds because the way we have our “system” of layout is that the graphics designer works on a file and gets it full of ads to place, and then i go in and completely empty it and place them…then save her file while it’s empty. So not only did I lose all my work, I lost all of her ads that she designed. PLEASE HELP!!
