  Avoiding Lone “I” at End of Lines

  Hello there!

  Perhaps this has been answered a thousand times, but a google search retrieves nothing.
  The problem is this.
  In a long text document with flowing text (200 pages), with justification activated in paragraph composer, many of my lines end with the lone character “I”. It is unsightly.
  When the copy is fully ready, I can adjust the tracking line by line.
  However, in the meantime, is there a global option somewhere that will tell ID to never, ever leave a stray “I” at the end of a line?

  I’ll have to see if I can replicate this. Are you reading in copy from some external source? If so, can you can simply search and replace that character with a character space or thin space?

  I didn’t know about the non-breaking space. It works.
  Type / Insert White Space / Nonbreaking Space
