    Hi Everybody,
I am trying to take a large Quarkxpress 6.5 document and convert it to an Indesign document. when i open it up in indesign, it automatically gets rid of the type styles that was made to the quark document. I would like to override these settings so that it will keep the type styles such as bolds and italics from the original document in Indesign. I read on the adobe website that… “Indesign correctly converts text to which you’ve applied a bold or italic type style in Quarkxpress.”
So if anybody knows how to override this setting please help! Thank you.

    Christina
