Hello, I am trying to build a PDF that will be editable on a PC. The client no longer wants us to make the simple changes. I exported a PDF from indesign, high quailty, editable, and it is very editable with my adobe acrobat proffesional, but when moved to the PC, it says that some of the fonts are currently unavailable. The fonts are installed on the PC, so not sure why this would be.

    Anyone had this problem before?
    thanks,

Easiest way might be to open the InDesign file on a PC and make a PDF from a PC.

Try also opening the InDesign PDf in Acrobat Pro and doing a save as.

Also try to print to the pdf printer form InDesign to generate a PDF that way, rather than using the InDesign export command.

Does the file open on the PC, but all the characters substitued to bullets.

thanks for the hints! I will try these three methods and re post. I need access to indesign on a PC, so I will look. When the pdf opens on the PC, it opens and reads fine, but when I try and edit it, it says that some of the fonts are not complete or are missing.

thanks, I will re post with more info,
    cheers
