I am having a problem importing swf files into indesign on a mac. Anyone have encountered this problem? I am running a G5 2.0 indesign cs2 4.04 and flash 8 pro. I also get an error when I try to import a swf into Acrobat pro 7.

“Download failed due to malformed url error pops up.”

Why are you trying to do that? If you’re creating an interactive pdf, it’s better to use QuickTime movies.

I built quite a few pdfs and used some simple swf files at one time (CS2) but QuickTime movies worked better in the end.

swf are light weight with vector artwork. I want to use the flash files for vector logo animations. I assume you do not have a problem with importing swf into indesign cs2 on a mac.
